SIMPLICITY OF SELF

Words Of Wisdom...

Compassion is the ultimate and most meaningful embodiment of emotional maturity. It is through compassion that a person achieves the highest peak and deepest reach in his or her search for self-fulfillment.” .......Arthur Jersild
It is lack of love for ourselves that inhibits our compassion toward others. If we make friends with ourselves, then there is no obstacle to opening our hearts and minds to others.” ....Dalai Lama

For the last 11 years I have worked privately with individuals from all walks of life. These include Olympic coaches, professional athletes, aspiring olympians, equestrians, music industry executives, recording artists,  corporate attorneys, financial analysts and advisors, as well as those in the political arena. I have worked with amazing parents, singles,  young adults, philanthropists and entrepreneurs.  My level of confidentiality, respect, non-judgement, professionalism, discretion, integrity, and compassion are the foundation of this work and are without question...definitive.

ABOUT NICOLE

Hello! My name is Nicole Passon. I am thrilled that you have found your way here.

Working as a Wellness Consultant & Mentor  I have spent years creating an authentic connection to myself that allows me to hold a supportive space for others as they do the same. After years of “processing” the same emotions and thought processes it became clear that huge shifts happen through deep decision and commitment and that “processing” after a point can actually contribute to us being stagnant. “Simplicity of Self” is an opportunity to expedite your inner journey to a place where you affect growth, connection, integrity, and overall health and well-being Now.

Below is a bit more of my personal journey, the experiences, people, and decisions, that all contributed to my choice and ability to work with others in this way.

In 1996, I graduated from the University of Delaware with a BA in Art & Science with a focus on Biology and the anticipation of entering graduate school to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy.

At the age of 22 however; severe anxiety, fear, and panic attacks, led me to explore exercise, and nutrition in an effort to feel better mentally and to get myself into a clearer place before making such life decisions.  This path was a positive one for me that created a whole new opportunity. Combined with a desire to help others in this same way I became a Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor, a position I maintained for 18 years.

Recognizing that the mental and emotional aspects of an individual are a critical part of one's overall health and state of well being, after about 4 years, I expanded my work to focus on these areas directly.

I attended Clayton College of Natural Health, where I studied wellness, holistic nutrition, and meditation.  I began working with a personal mentor, with whom I still have a very strong connection to this day. I attended intensive retreats and workshops, and began to incorporate meditation into my daily life, even if only for a few moments.  At age 27 after a very intense retreat, bringing mindfulness into my daily experience, I looked down at the tuna fish I was eating, realized what I was doing, began to feel tears run down my face, and I became a vegetarian! Not necessarily an option for everyone, which I completely respect, but for me there was no question. Eighteen years later, (I have been a vegan for the last 14 years) I never looked back. I love playing with raw food recipies, inspiring new vegan creations, educating myself on healthy keto alternatives, and have determined that for me, living without a Vitamix is not an option!

Not long after that experience and for the next 6 years following, I was fortunate to work directly with master teachers from India, Israel, and the Philippines. Each of these individuals were extraordinary examples of compassion, self awareness, and a commitment to serving humanity. Serving others is an expression of respect and humility, which are both essential to inner growth.

For the last 14 years I have worked privately with individuals from all walks of life. These include Olympic coaches, professional athletes, aspiring olympians, equestrians, music industry executives, recording artists,  corporate attorneys, financial analysts and advisors, as well as those in the political arena. I have worked with amazing parents, young adults, philanthropists and entrepreneurs.  My level of confidentiality, respect, non-judgement, professionalism, discretion, integrity, and compassion are the foundation of this work and are without question...definitive.

I see beyond race, religion, sexual orientation, age, profession or anything else that creates limitation in perspective. I honor the worthiness of anyone who stands before me with no attachment to understanding their choices or behavior.

I educate people on the power of exploring their mental and emotional selves and share an alternative perspective for relating to their emotions in a healthy way.   I am kind and compassionate, gentle and super tough when necessary;) I pay thoughtful attention to what will serve different personalities optimally.

If you participate in this work actively, you will catapult forward in every part of your life. You will experience a connection to yourself that will be beyond anything you have experienced before. I would be honored to be a supportive participant on your journey!
